STATEMENT OF FAITH
1. We believe there is only one true God. (See Exodus 20:3 & Isaiah 46:9)
2. We believe that the way to salvation and eternal life is obtained through a personal commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of one’s life and through Him alone. (See John 14:6 & John 3:16)
3. We believe that the Bible is God’s written Word, infallible and inspired by the Holy Spirit. In it is revealed God’s plan of salvation as well as principles for living a life pleasing to God. (See 2 Timothy 3:16 and Hebrews 4:12)
4. We believe that salvation is a free gift from God and no one can earn his/her own way to heaven. We also believe that a true follower of Christ will seek to demonstrate his love for Christ through obedience. (See Ephesians 2:8-9 & I John 2:3)
5. We believe that God is three persons in one—the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. (See Genesis 1:26 & Matthew 28:19)
6. We believe that those who receive God’s free gift of salvation will live eternally with God in heaven. (See Romans 6:8 & I Thessalonians 4:16-17)
7. We believe that those who reject God will be eternally separated from Him. (See Romans 6:23 & Revelation 20:15)
